How we rate casinos

Our ratings compare offshore casinos with each other. A 4.7 here means a strong option among casinos without a Danish licence. It does not mean the casino offers the protection of a Danish-licensed site.

What we check for every casino

1. Licence and owner

We find the licensing authority, the licence number where one is published and the company that holds it. We compare the casino's own statement with the regulator and with databases such as AskGamblers and SlotCatalog, and we note it when they disagree. A casino that will not say who runs it is not listed.

2. Withdrawal limits and speed

This carries the most weight. We record the per-transaction, daily, weekly and monthly limits, whether payouts are processed at weekends, the time each method takes and any fees. We work out how long a realistic win takes to withdraw, because a generous bonus is worth little if the money takes a month to arrive.

3. Bonus terms

We read the full bonus terms: wagering, time limit, maximum bet, game weighting and any cap on what a bonus can pay out. A smaller bonus with fair terms scores better than a large one with a 5× cap and a 3-day deadline.

4. Complaints and reputation

We go through the complaint records on AskGamblers and Casino Guru and look for patterns: slow payouts, accounts closed after wins, disputes over documents. Resolved complaints count differently from ones the casino ignored. Unpaid, unresolved complaints keep a casino off the list.

5. Payments for people in Denmark

We check which methods work here, whether a DKK account is possible and which methods are excluded from bonuses.

6. Player protection tools

We list the limits you can set yourself: deposit, loss, wager and session limits, time-outs and self-exclusion. A casino that only offers self-exclusion by email scores lower than one where you can set a deposit limit in two clicks.

7. Games and the site itself

We look at the size and quality of the lobby, which studios are there, whether live casino and a sportsbook exist, and how the site works on a phone. This counts, but it weighs less than the points above.

How the score and order are set

The score is an editorial judgement based on the checks above, with withdrawals and terms weighing most. The order on the front page is our editorial ranking. Each casino also gets a "best for" line, because the right choice depends on what you care about: a kroner account, the highest limits or a particular studio.

What we cannot check

We cannot promise how any single withdrawal will go, and terms change without notice. Always read the current terms at the casino before you deposit. If you find something on our site that no longer matches, let us know.
